.”Muddy Waters whose name is a play on words from “muddy waters” comes from Dallas, Texas and plays his own brand of music that combines Hip Hop, Rap and Soul. He draws inspiration from several musical sources including the sounds of the south and rhythm and blues.

Muddy Waters first album, entitled “The Porch,” debuted in 2003 and quickly captured attention and favor with audiences. That first album dealt heavily with the struggles and triumphs of life in the ghetto. Money Waters works with the SoulIsys Music and independent music label. Muddy Waters music does not fit one genre, but spans at least three.

Muddy Waters second album “Swalhaggin…” released in 2006 much to the pleasure of fans and critics. Though a relatively new artist on the scene Muddy Waters has already performed alongside music greats like UKG, Slim Thug, Busta Rhymes and others.

AllHipHop.com call him an “Underground Legend”. And -Deadly-grounds.com say he is “Significantly talented”. Muddy Waters is a genuine and honest musician, he tries to create lyrics his fans can relate too. For him the sound booth is a place to keep things real saying, “Music is therapy to the soul, so I guess we do soul music.”
